Our Story

YOJOS is the brainchild of founder Yewande Ojo who founded the company in 2014 driven out of her passion and love for gourmet food. Her love for food inspired her to recreate much loved and cherished snacks enjoyed during her childhood.

Specilaising in the production of African snacks, YOJOS is dedicated to innovatively redefining the taste of African snacks starting with the signature product “Crunch”.

“Crunch” is a twist on the popular West African nibble Chin-Chin and comes in five flavours, Vanilla, Chili, Ginger, Coffee, and Spinach. Starting out with the Vanilla flavour in 2014, this remained the only flavour up until late 2015 when the Chilli flavour was created. Soon after that, the Coffee, Ginger and Spinach flavours followed.

“Crunch” is ideal for corporate events, wedding favours and bridal showers. It’s also great on it’s own as a snack, or sprinkled over salad, yoghurt, ice cream or warm waffles and as a perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea.
