Where’s Chin-Chin from?

Brown Map on Map.jpg

I always get asked whenever clients

see our Crunch at events or
comments on social media posts.

People usually ask, “What is?”  “What is it made of?” “Where is it from?”

Chin-Chin is a crunch doughy snack that originates from West Africa.  It is eaten in countries like Nigeria, Sierra-Leone, Ghana and other West African countries.  Chin-Chin is eaten at all events, weddings, birthdays, kids parties, or just as snacks for families to share at home.

It’s made from flour, sugar, eggs, butter and spices and is kneaded into a dough and then cut into strips before frying.

Another question I get a lot is why is your chin-chin called Crunch? Crunch is the name I’ve given my twist on chin-chin.  Traditionally, chin-chin can be quite hard, almost that break you teeth kind of hard. Crunch on the other hand is is crunchy yet light…. You catch my drift. If you still haven’t tried Crunch yet, what are you waiting for? Head on over to the shop on the Yojos shop

Lots of Love,

Y xx
